For Kids:

• I always get the m&m tubes that are like $2 a piece, and my kids really enjoy the ones with the train toppers.
• If you can find a toy store that carries a Tommy Toot, this is a really fun toy for a toddler or preschooler.
• Thomas Trains are great.
• Doll clothes or accessories.
• Transformers, if you approve of them.
• Mini Lego sets--I found some on sale at a local store for $1.50 each for this year's stockings.
• Cartridges for a Leapster, V-Smile or Gameboy devise.
• Socks
• Leg Warmers
• Brain Quest cards. My kids really enjoy these.
• Egg Shakers--so fun!  
• Disney Pixar Cars Figurine Set with Lightning Mcqueen--I have 3 boys, so I love buying packs like this and dividing it up and putting the pieces in their stockings.
• A Harmonica--my son Isaac has one of these and loves it!
• "Hair Pretties" for a little girl.
• PLAYMOBILhas a lot of fun little sets that would work great in a stocking--or buy a bigger set and divide it into pieces!
• A pack of fun, character underwear-I divide up each pair and wrap it separately. The Disney Store sometimes has underwear an clearance, and that's usually when I stock up.
• Children's Card Games
• ViewMaster and/or reels and/or case for the reels.
• A fun pen, like a Star Wars Chewbacca Lego Pen.
• Markers, special crayons, pencils with the child's name on them.
• Cheapo items that you might usually get for party favors.
• A watch--got a soccer ball one for my son Isaac's stocking last year, and he still wears it daily.
• Earrings for a little girl.
• Littlest Pet Shop Digital Pets - Puppy. These look really cute!
• Lipgloss
• A Yo-Yo and a book of Yo-Yo Tricks & Tips.
• Star Wars Attacktix--my husband and boys like these.
• Polly Pockets
• Quickits Travel Spindoodles
• Little tiny animal figures--my kids love these.
• Travel Magna Doodle
• Small notebook and crayon or pencil (if your child likes Blues Clues, they can pretend it is their "handy, dandy notebook"
• Flashcards
• A CD--check out Steve Green's "Hide 'Em In Your Heart"
• Baseball Cards
• A pack of gum-what a treat!
• Candy necklaces or rings.
• A kit of beads to make a bracelet.
• Pretty knobs to add to a little girl's dresser.
• Paint supplies
• Tools for boys-a screwdriver, a hammer, a wrench, etc.
• Modeling clay
• Dollhouse pieces
• Little tubs of playdough
• Silly Putty
• A small magnifying glass
• Sunglasses
• Makeup for girls
• Soaps, lotions
• Some "cool" cologne for boys that are a little older
• A tie
• Calligraphy pens, maybe a little book that teaches how to do it
• A hand stitching kit
• A pocket dictionary--or another pocket style book that is useful (rhyming dictionary for a poet, etc.)
• An iTunes giftcard
• A giftcard to the Dollar Store.
• Check out the dollar store, party supply stores, craft stores, and even the hardware store! :)

For Adults:

• An Antenna Topper.
