Discipline & Child Training

Below you will find some great parenting resources. If you try these techniques with your children and one particular child doesn't respond, I really suggest looking into RAD. It is on my Adoption page, but biological children can have Reactive Attachment Disorder as well. Especially if the child was in the hospital longer than usual, had medical problems, was separated from mom for too long, started out in a stressful environment, etc. Many times RAD gets overlooked as a possibility & people just think they have a naughty child. Well yes, a kid with RAD acts naughty--but there is hope--there are ways to deal with it, and they are different methods than the ones listed below (which are meant for healthy children).

This is the coolest resource! It's a chart of behaviors, and Scripture references to go along with each behavior.

This is one of the best parenting books out there. I highly recommend this one.
