What a blessing it is to invite others into our home!  We are blessed, and they are blessed!  It is one of the best opportunities I know to develop new friendships.  Our home can be used as a tool for ministry to happen when we simply open it up and provide good food!

Remember, hosting guests doesn't have to be a big huge ordeal.  You have to serve dinner to your family every night anyways, right?  What do you make on a normal week night?  Make the same types of food when you have guests over.  Better yet--make it easier on yourself, have them bring a salad and bread, or a dessert.  People feel important when they can be a part of something.  And then you won't be the only one getting praises for the great meal, which is always a good thing!  You're not having people over to impress them with your cooking skills--it is to bless them.
