Cleaning

Don't be embarrassed if you don't even know some of the basics about keeping up a house.  Many women did not (and still do not) feel that homemaking was (or is) an honorable and noble art to be passing on to their daughters.  Many of our mothers and grandmothers believed that it was more important that we be trained in skills to be able to get a job someday, and therefore didn't teach the necessary and important skills needed to keep a home.

Know that your role as a homemaker is honorable and noble.  Titus 2:4 & 5 says that the younger women ought to: "love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. "

This section will hopefully fill in the gaps where your mom (who may not have had any training herself) did not train you.  Good luck, and God bless as you tackle this important job!
