There is sickening news out today ladies.  Apparently the UN is pushing some *humorous* (according to some) cartoons about condom characters to "modify the behaviors" of at least 80% of the world's population.  This is one reason I applaud President Bush's efforts in keeping us an independent nation.  The day that we inaugurate a president who is in favor of a co-dependent UN relationship, I will be praying for our country's morality and safety, among other things!  Though the UN can be a good thing in times of war (i.e. countries can join together to support each other or to attack an opposing nation), it just doesn't seem wise to me to have one government over many (or all) nations.  The one government group gets a crazy (totally immoral) idea up their sleeves, absent of any kind of religious beliefs or morals (absent of Christ), and they push their idea on the whole world.  This is scary!

WorldNetDaily is taking a poll to see what people think about condoms.  What do I think?  (you *did* want to know, didn't you??)  Condoms (and any type of birth control) put the control of the population in the hands of the individual (how different is it from abortion, really?) and they make people forget about God's encouraging words, "Be ye fruitful and multiply."  Fill the earth?  "Over populate"?  YES!  If we fill it, especially if we who are strong Christian families fill it, I am certain of the fact that we will be BLESSED.  If people did not have birth control options like condoms and abortion so readily available, maybe they would just have to learn to be responsible for their actions.  And what happens to the babies they produce and don't want, you ask?  My family will gladly take them in as our own--will yours?  If we so strongly oppose abortion (which we do, and rightly so), let us be willing to offer another solution, even a bed in our own home!

Speaking of my home, some are still sick.  This is why I am blogging in the evening instead of bright in the AM.  I was up at 5 today, but not writing, I was taking care of 2 sick toddlers who didn't feel much like sleeping anymore.  Last night we took a trip into Urgent Care and had an IV put into my 3 year old, Isaac.  He is severely underweight (he had a G-tube put in this last Nov. for supplemental feedings and has always been underweight) and he cannot handle even the most common illnesses.  Today he has been sleeping ALL day.  He scoots around the family room floor to different positions, but he doesn't wake up even when his 1 year old brother crawls on top of his head!  It is scary to watch, and I check his breathing often, but I think he is really a lot like me--when I get sick I have to just "sleep it off" and the next day I am better.  I am praying that is the case for him, too.

My husband is better, and Kaleb (our 2 year old) threw up a little today, but seems much better this evening.  Noah has been fine, though tonight he is getting fussy.  Oh no!  I have not caught it yet, and I am praying that I don't.  I slept for 3 hours this afternoon because I was EXHAUSTED!  Hopefully that, our praying, and my constant hand-washing technique is enough to keep me on my feet!
