| I mentioned committing the day
to the Lord in my last blog, and
guess what? The day did not go at
all as I had planned at all! The
Lord had planned it that we'd need
to pick up our little Noah early
that day instead of that evening (I
got a phone call just as I finished
the blog), which changed the day
entirely. I did not have a chance
to write again that evening, or at
any point until now, but I know it
was all in God's hands.
Tonight there's something else
that is in God's hands--our
country's election. You know why,
ladies, many of our media programs
are hesitant to declare Ohio for
Bush? Look at Fox News--at least an
hour ago they claimed that Bush had
won Ohio. The liberal news programs
(and oh are they liberal!) do not
want to claim that Bush has won,
they want to hold out for Kerry
(their candidate) as long as they
possibly can.
I heard that NBC declared Bush as
the winner in Ohio, which surprised
me. I am refusing to watch NBC
because of their obvious liberal
slants I saw earlier this evening.
I e-mailed in a complaint (I'm not
sure what good it will do, but I let
them know that I'm refusing to watch
their show). Here's what I heard:
Tom Brokaw was talking about the
votes in Florida. He said "many
Democrats claim that Gore won
Florida in 2000, and in fact he
did," and then he just went on
to talk about something else (to
brush over such a blatant liberal
statement!!). Also--Brokaw was
talking to another man (a supposedly
neutral party), and they were
discussing the young voters, and how
they have tended to favor Kerry.
The man Brokaw was talking to said
that there has been a large turnout
of young voters this year, and then
he followed that with "which is good
news"...for the Kerry campaign,
according to what they had just been
saying! I cannot believe them.
One more thing that has
frustrated me--I was watching
channel 6 (KOIN), which is liberal,
but hasn't seemed as bad as NBC.
They were interviewing the No on 36
people, who are claiming that voting
down gay marriage will then deny gay
people health care. WHAT? They
still have equal opportunity to get
health care! And guess what? Under
many company insurance policies, a
"significant other" can receive
health care benefits just like a
spouse. It's sick, but it's true.
QUESTION: If we start defining
marriage as "between one man and one
woman," and also "between one man
and one man" or "between one woman
and one woman," where does it stop?
The possibilities are endless (bear
with me, I have an imagination here,
and our state is just liberal enough
to make this happen).
Marriage could possibly be
between:
One man and one child
One woman and one child (Mary Kay
Letourneau would have never been
prosecuted!)
One man and one dog
One woman and one animal (you
name it)
One child and one insect
One woman and one piece of
furniture
You name it.....Remember, as a
child, when someone said "oh, I love
this piece of candy," saying in
response "well then why don't you
marry it?" If marriage is allowed
between homosexuals, this phrase
"why don't you marry it?" will
eventually become true--a person
could literally marry any one or any
thing that they want. SICK. This
is liberal agenda: Nothing is
wrong, tolerate everything, no
boundaries, embrace sin.
I am SO THANKFUL Measure 36 is
passing.
One last idea...I'm think it
would be cool to get a measure on
the ballot next November. Brace
yourselves here...I think we could
at least TRY to make abortion
illegal in the state of Oregon.
It's a long shot in this liberal
state, but I think that the voters
deserve the chance to choose whether
or not they really think murdering
children should be legal. Read
this article for more
information on why I think this is a
possibility. This is EYE OPENING.
It's a long article (full of good
info, but long), so scroll down
until you see the word "Abortion".
I think we just need to get large
companies and large churches to back
the measure, financially and through
prayer (much more powerful than any
amount of money!!), and we've got
it. We just have to show images on
TV like they have on
AbortionNo.com to expose the
reality of abortion--it is MURDER.
We just have to get people (who
started the Pro Choice movement and
are now against it) like Bernard
Nathanson to speak to people and
participate in commercials. We
would also need nurses and doctors
who have seen abortions and/or
performed abortions and are totally
against it. Especially nurses and
doctors who have seen or performed
partial birth abortions. If ANYONE
who is reading this has any more
ideas--people to talk to, resources
to look at, etc., please
e-mail me.
Goodnight all! Hooray Bush, he's
winning for sure! :) Praise God for
sovereignty is in Him alone, not in
any country! |
